Games & Sports
A rare privilege of the institution is the possession of a playground very close to it. The college has a pro-active attitude towards sports and games. The students of the institution have won medals at the IX Non-Government College Athletic Meet – 2008 organised by the Education Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal.
Extension Activities
Besides academic exercise, the college encourages its students to build up human values. It also engages its students in different social awareness programmes, such as Blood Donation Camp, Health Camp, Community Development Programmes etc.
Cultural Programme
The college organizes various cultural programme. Students are encouraged to participate in intra-college as well as inter-college cultural competitions. Eminent artists are invited to perform at the cultural programmes and students also take active part in this regard. Many students of the institution, at present, are actively engaged in TV media. Students also celebrate Teacher’s Day, Independence Day, Republic Day and Netaji’s birthday as part of their cultural activities.
NSS
This year the college has got formal recognition to start its NSS unit from the Calcutta University.
